FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION?
    You may book a standard one-hour session directly through the booking link. For branding, portfolio building, or extended sessions, please contact Alexandra Zak directly so a curated option can be created for you.

  2. IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?
    Yes. A 50% non-refundable, non-transferable retainer is required to secure your session date and time. The remaining balance is due prior to the shoot.

  3. WHAT DOES THE BOOKING TIME REPRESENT?
    Your booking time reflects photography time only and does not include hair, makeup, or prep time.

  4. DO YOU OFFER HAIR AND MAKEUP?
    Yes. Professional hair and makeup may be added during booking or arranged separately. If you plan to book your own hair and makeup, please notify Alexandra in advance and arrive one hour prior to your scheduled shoot time.

  5. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
    Clients are encouraged to bring multiple outfit options. Simple, elevated pieces photograph best. Guidance is available for branding, editorial, and portfolio sessions.

  6. HOW MANY IMAGES DO I RECEIVE?
    Each session includes a set number of fully retouched images, outlined at the time of booking. Additional retouched images may be purchased separately.

  7. DO YOU PROVIDE RAW FILES?
    No. RAW files are not provided. All delivered images are professionally edited and consistent with the Alexandra Zak aesthetic.

  8. HOW ARE IMAGES DELIVERED?
    Images are delivered digitally through a private online gallery. Proofing galleries are watermarked for image selection, followed by final high-resolution edits.

  9. CAN I ADD MORE PEOPLE TO MY SESSION?
    Additional people may be added to select sessions for an additional fee. Please inquire in advance to confirm availability and pricing.

  10. WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING POLICY?
    All retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable. One reschedule may be offered at Alexandra’s discretion with sufficient notice.

  11. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
    Sessions take place at Studio A in Alpharetta, Georgia, unless otherwise arranged.
     

SESSION PREP

  1. HOW SHOULD I PREPARE?
    Once your session is confirmed, you will receive basic preparation guidance. More detailed direction is available for branding, editorial, and portfolio shoots.

  2. WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
    Please arrive with clean, wrinkle-free clothing, shoes, and accessories. Multiple outfit options are recommended to allow variety and flexibility during the shoot.

  3. HAIR, MAKEUP, AND GROOMING
    If professional hair and makeup are included, arrive with a clean face and dry hair unless instructed otherwise. If you are arranging hair and makeup on your own, please notify Alexandra Zak in advance and arrive one hour prior to your scheduled shoot time. The booking time represents photography time only.

  4. SKIN AND SELF-CARE
    Avoid new skincare treatments, spray tans, waxing, or injectables within several days of your session. Stay hydrated and keep skincare minimal leading up to your shoot.

  5. MODELS & PORTFOLIO CLIENTS
    Models should arrive with clean nails, neutral makeup if not booking HMUA, and simple wardrobe options. Alexandra will guide posing, expressions, and transitions throughout the session.

  6. ARRIVAL TIME
    Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in reduced shooting time, as sessions must conclude at the scheduled end time.
